Princess is a 6 year old German shepherd cross Husky. She was taken to be put to sleep when she went for the owners new puppy and we gave her a lifeline to come to us as we felt she was just doing what dogs tend to do to newbies in the home. Princess sadly has corneal distrophy, which ultimately is un-treatable and will lead to her going blind. She seems to be deaf too. She is a dog who doesn’t take much notice of you at first but once she has built a bond is very sweet. She needs to be the only dog in the home and is muzzle trained for outside as she does not get on with other dogs out of the home. We desperately want to see her settled and loved in a home before she goes blind so she has a chance to settle. No small pets in the home and ideally an adult only home. She has been given eye drops to try to delay the film that is developing in her eyes and we are trying to get her used to these but she is not keen and does need to be muzzled to have these administered. She is a lovely girl she just needs an experienced understanding home. Currently in kennels in Canterbury Kent. To apply for princess please fill out our online application form.
